Need an Africa Fix?
My old roommate Allison passed along her cousin Ben’s blog this week. He’s roaming around Africa for about a year and has been updating a few times a week. My favorite are his profiles of other people. I think it’s a great way for a writer to bring a little bit of where he or she is travelling back home to those reading the blog.
Ben was working for the NYT, the same newspaper that is sponsoring the Win a Trip with Nick Kristof contest. I strongly encourage any university student with a passion for travel - or even the slightest itty bitty interest in travel - to apply.
