You know you’re in Africa when…the power goes out for 8 hours.

Thankfully, I was on a bike tour. It was only 25 miles, but hey, it’s better than nothing! Of course, all about it in the future (I’ve been getting around to writing these posts, as promised - have you noticed?)

Because I’m busy writing about, well, lots of things, I’ve not yet been able to document my bat encounter at the Kalk Bay Caves.
