Keeping up with blog writing is difficult - I don’t want to write about things that I don’t think people would find interesting…or can’t find the time to make ‘kinda interesting’ things worth reading

I’ve been keeping my eye on international airfare specials - there are a couple of places I keep saying I’m going to make it to, but I never quite get there (like Mexico..or Canada). I’ve noticed some amazing deals to Asia and cheap airfare to Australia as of late, especially on United. If you’ve got some free time and a little bit of cash, there are some cheap tickets!

I do have a few domestic trips planned - I might be heading up to Seattle over Easter weekend to take in a bike race, and I’ve got tickets to Minnesota in early June to celebrate my brother’s high school graduation. I’ll also be taking on an olympic-distance triathlon to get in shape for my next trip a few weeks after that, to Bend, Oregon for the Pacific Crest half-ironman. I’d like to make it to Indiana and L.A. to visit extended family sometime this year too.

But, as always, I love to live vicariously through other’s trips, so if you’re planning to head to Portland anytime this summer, make sure to drop me a line!
